A scenario for perfect placement: a melbourne cbd street project
1995

Heading out with my trusty roll of red tape and stanley knife, I created squares for positioning in and around Swanston Street - for solitary contemplation, for queueing, for intimate interaction, for displaced interaction. How do lines and markings govern our movements. How reluctant are we to be placed. How happy are we to play. These scenarios for possible performance were part of an ongoing project.
